Lynne has studied Art History, gaining a first-class B.A. (Hons) degree from the Open University, winning an award along the way, and an M.A. with distinction from London’s prestigious University College London.
A ‘sassy raconteuse’ with ‘wonderful insight into the paintings’, her love of the subject began in Paris in the early 1990’s when she discovered the fabulously louche post-impressionist art of Toulouse-Lautrec and revelled in the sculptures of August Rodin. In her 20s and early 30s she followed (sort of!) the well-trodden path of the 18th century Grand Tourist, discovering Europe and eventually travelling further afield, visually devouring everything from sculpture to art installations to altarpieces, from Berlin to Beijing and back again, before settling in London.
Weaving together scandalous tales about artists, narratives and tantalising glimpses of life behind the canvas, Lynne combines her knowledge and passion for art with a love of people, humour and joie de vivre, and is your ‘perfect guide through London’s galleries’.
