‘a tour de force... fascinating, funny and memorable, you made the hour fly by’

Diana Isabel Jervis-ReadFellow of the Royal Society of Arts

In times like these we all need beauty, fun and stimulation in our lives. For obvious reasons the National Gallery has closed its doors for the time being so we won’t be romping through the gallery for a while.

I am, however, avidly making videos with my trusty green screen and will be posting one a week.

I’ve also committed to doing an Instagram Live, ‘Elevenses with Lynne’ every Monday and Thursday at 11am, please join me!

If there’s a painting you’d like me to talk about why not let me know via email and I’ll see what I can do.

Sending love to you all. Stay safe and sane!

Join Lynne Hanley for a captivating art tour in London’s National Gallery. Gain a new perspective, luxuriating in stories, anecdotes and fascinating facts that will ensure you’ll never look at paintings the same way again. Choose from a themed tour or simply select a romp through western art from the 14th to the late 19th century.

I’m very excited to share my first ever podcast experience. I was invited by the award winning team at ‘The Art of Dying Well’ to talk skulls skeletons and some less obvious symbols of life and death in paintings with the fantastically engaging and intelligent James Abbot.
